Gaja refers to the Sanskrit word for elephant, one of the most important animals in Hinduism and Buddhism. A Gaja personifies a number of positive attributes, including abundance, fertility, wealth and wisdom. The lucky elephant is therefore seen as a sacred animal, the holder of great power and a symbol of amazing powers.
This version of Gaja features the classic brushed gold elephant of the collection on a thread with small deep red rubellites and bigger diopside stones, with circular brushed golden beads to enhance the luminosity of this necklace.
